I had met a very special man from Edmonton, while was in Red Deer. We met in a chat room, on a Friday evening, in October
2002. I was bored and was just being my nosey self when he started a conversation with me. We chatted for a bit until
we moved to the next step, the phone. He had this wonderful voice and made me wonder what he looked like, we exchanged pictures
and continued to talk for some time on the phone that night. I offered him to come to Red Deer the next day to meet. So he
did. He took me out for supper at the Keg, and we had an awesome time together. He never did end up going back the Edmonton
that night. We commuted back and forth for a couple of months. He then had asked me if my daughter and I wanted to move in
with him. I thought about it and I said sure we would love to. We have been together now for 3 years. We did have some ups
and downs but everyone has them. I am 7 years older than him, but age to me doesnt matter or to him. My daughter
Jessica calls him daddy, and he had asked me July 2004 what I thought about him adopting her. I had said that he would
have to ask her. But meanwhile I was jumping up and down inside, because Jessica really loves him. So they had "the
talk" and all we have to do is fill out the papers and send them away.

Look Inside
It is so easy for us to get wrapped up in the world around us and all it's flurry of activity. I believe that
sometimes we get lost in the pace of the lives we live and seldom make the time for the things and people who really matter
to us. In this world we live in is one that is filled with fear, anger and hate those we easily see each and every day simply
by reading the paper or watching the news. But the things that we need to focus more clearly on and spend more of our energy
exploring, are the wonderful and glorious things this world has to offer. Things like life, love, friendship, kindness,
and the warm feeling you get when you hear your child laugh.. Please take time to look inside

For All My Friends....
Friends rely upon one another to inspire and encourage, support each other in our dreams as far as they'll take us.
Friends are winners, not only because we believe in ourselves, but because we believe in each other. Distance never separates
two hearts that really care. For memory spans the miles and in seconds we are there. We hear the voice, we see the smile,
and deep inside we know, that friends remain a part of us wherever you may go. So we can visit anytime, no matter when
or where. A dreamer looks beyond the limits of today to the possiblities of tomorrow, and sees what can be instead of
settling for what is. A dreamerimagines the most wonderful new things, and finds a way to make them real. A dreamer
knows that the stars were made to wish upon and that wishes do come true.. To my dear friends, Believe In The Magic
Of Your Dreams...
