About Me

I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world.... at least in my opinion. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We
are the host city for the 2005 WorldMasters. Edmonton is the Canada's metroplitan gateway to the Rockies and Canada's boundless
North. Edmonton is a mere drive to the Rocky Mountains, a place where I like to spend as much time as possible when the
weather is warm. Unlike most people in these parts I do not ski as I don't know how to, and as I hate the cold. During the
winter you will find me curled up all warm watching a movie. Other activities I enjoy include hiking, camping, fishing, picnics
in the park and spending time with family. I also enjoy spending time on the computer.... being nosey, obviously.
I hope that all this information gives you a little better understanding of who Marlene is. In all truth I am simply
a person who is not all that different from most of you. I've had my share of ups and downs, struggling to do the very
best I can to live life with dignity while setting an example fro my daughters and those around me.
I'm pretty easy going, usually don't allow too much to bother me. One thing that does piss me off, are people that hurt
others. There is no excuse for someone playing games with a heart.
